On the Road Again …

Cue Willie Nelson!  We’re about to leave our beautiful home and drive off on another cross-country road trip.  The plan is to go to Rhode Island and Maryland to visit long-time friends, with stops along the way for visits and a few (very few) sights.  We’ll be gone 31 days, which is about our limit, so we won’t be able to visit everyone we’d like to see.  And the visits we do make will have to be brief.

We love traveling the highways — the drone of travel, the sights, the people we meet along the way, the varying land and weather, and, yes, the fewer responsibilities.  Sometimes I still find it remarkable how well we travel so happily together.
